📄 Instructions for Submitting Papers – ISE 2025
Papers submitted to the 3rd International Symposium on Energy Sustainability (ISE 2025) must be original and cannot be under evaluation in other conferences or journals. Each author must choose the Symposium theme that most closely matches the content covered in his/her paper.
Each submission must be in the extended abstract format, with up to 2 (two) pages, following the event templates (available in WORD and PDF). According to the ISE 2025 guidelines, papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF format, containing the full text, including:
📚 All papers approved by the Scientific Committee and presented* during the event will be published in the Proceedings of ISE 2025, with individual DOI assignment.
The paper may be presented in Portuguese or English, at the author’s discretion.
🔍 Peer Review Process
Papers submitted to ISE 2025 will undergo the following evaluation stages:
Preliminary formatting check – checking compliance with template guidelines.
Similarity detection – to ensure originality and academic integrity.
Peer review – conducted by the Scientific Committee, in which two or more reviewers must agree to approve the paper for it to be accepted.
💳 Publication Fee
There is no fee charged at the time of submission. However, payment of a publication fee will be required only for approved papers, according to the following table:

📌 Authors and co-authors who pay the publication fee will automatically be exempt from paying the event registration fee.
✍️ Authors’ Responsibility
The content of the papers is the sole responsibility of the authors. By submitting a paper to ISE 2025, the authors declare that:
The manuscript is original and does not infringe copyright or third-party rights;
All sources, collaborations and contributions are duly acknowledged;
The content is not under simultaneous evaluation in another event or publication.
📄 Call for Papers/Instructions – ISE 2025
Papers submitted to the 3rd International Symposium on Energy Sustainability (ISE 2025) must be original and not under review by any other conference or journal. Authors should select the symposium theme that best aligns with the content of their work.
Each submission must follow the extended abstract format, with a maximum of 8 (eight) pages, using the official WORD or PDF templates provided. As per ISE 2025 guidelines, all papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF format, including the following elements:

Presentations of accepted papers may be delivered in Portuguese or English, at the author’s discretion.
